Bellyshell
What do you do when you have no motivation whatsoever and just go home and go to bed only to toss and turn and repeat it everyday? I feel tired and gained weight. How do you get out of the slump and get motivated?
Saros
Welcome to the forums.Aside from trying to get better with things like healthy lifestyle changes like exercise, sunshine, socializing, a healthy diet, therapy done in good faith, and/or medication,My advice is to not feel too guilty about it. Despite being proactive about your mental health, low periods can happen regardless. So try not to beat yourself up over it.
Licorice
In addition to the advice from Saros, I think it helps to prioritize and set small daily tasks. It's easy to be overwhelmed with something like "clean" or "study," but to clean just the kitchen or study for two sets of thirty minutes could be easier. Mr Shadow
Want to second Licorice's post. Start with small things and try to go from there. Motivation should come when you see that you can accomplish something, even if that something is small and seemingly not very significant at the moment.
overthedeepend
My counselor told me to work in 15 minute times and log when I do manage to get something done. You may be surprised that you are actually getting more done then you realize. I know I was surprised when I started writing things down.
