Damned Pill Doesnt Do Anything

Not every anti-depressant works for everybody. How long have you been on it? Have you tried anything else? I'm on Prozac, as well - and have been on several different a-d - and it really isn't doing much for me, either although it's better than not being on anything at all. But I find that I have to switch a-d periodically, because their effectiveness seems to wear off, and some just don't have any effect at all.

As rhyl said, not every AD works for everybody. Even very similar ADs can have drastically different effects. Even though I've been prescribed related SSRIs in the past for depression, they did nothing but to affect my hunger. One killed my appetite and the other made me hungry as a horse all the time.

Hand in there and let your doctors know that the Prozac isn't working. If sufficient time has passed, they will change the dosage or prescribe something else.
