Sometimes It's Ok To...

I started this on my Blog and thought it might be fun to do a post as well

Sometimes it helps to think of things that we can do instead of all the things we can't do....There are so many rules. Let's free ourselves a bit to do things in life that make us happy, that relieve us of stress and that help us get through.

The idea is to start a sentence with "Sometimes it's ok."

I'll start....

Sometimes it's ok to eat what you want without guilt.

Sometimes it's ok to just spend the day relaxing with no plans.

Sometimes it's ok to fart in front of a loved one, especially if that loved one is a pet, lol.

Sometimes it's ok to cry.

Sometimes it is OK to feel totally lost and bewildered in depression.

A slight variation on

I agree...Sometimes we can't help but feel lost and bewildered and it is ok....We don't have to beat ourselves up. :D

Sometimes its ok to ask for help.

Sometimes its ok to daydream.

Sometimes its ok to forget to take something out for dinner.

Sometimes its ok to play on line games all day and not do anything else.

Sometimes its ok to take it easy.

Sometimes it's okay to indulge in cheesy books.

Sometimes it's okay to daydream/pretend you can actually do something (like swim) :blush21:

Sometimes it's okay to admit you're afraid of something. (like spiders) :ermm:

Sometime it's okay to act like a little kid, hold your plush toy and watch a Disney movie.

Sometimes it is ok not to turn up to team sports if you are feeling depressed.

Is it ok if one of your five a day is orange flavoured chocolate?

(Please say yes!)

Yes, sometimes it's ok to substitute one of your five a day for an orange flavoured chocolate :D

BTW, science has now proven that chocolate is good for beating depression. Just thought you would like to know that.

Dark chocolate raises your endorphine levels temporarily giving you a feeling of being happy. It really doesn't help with depression. If you eat a Hershey's milk chocolate bar it's not going to do anything for you except give you a sugar rush.

Sometimes it is ok to put your feelings ahead of other people's.... Not that I'm much good at following through on that.
