SPUDDY
I have been using Escitalopram 10mg fairly successfully since 2016. I have come off 3 times now without too much trouble. The last I came off in July last year after a taper over 3 months and all was well until about mid November when I had a big relapse of Anxiety mainly Health Anxiety and panicking about minor issues. I started Mirtazapine at first 3.75mg then upped to 7.5mg but found I was getting bad restless leg and felt awful so dropped back to 3.75mg. I decided that I needed to be back on Escitalopram and consulted with my Dr to get it prescribed again. Then I found and read Survivingantidepressants and scared myself silly about kindling, delayed withdrawal and all sorts. My Dr is adamant what I have is a relapse. I have started back on Escitalopram very low dose 1.25mg a 1/4 of a 5mg tablet with the aim to increase weekly and see how it goes as I’m scared it’s going to go wrong this time as it’s my 4th time starting it and only came of it in July. Has anyone else been in a similar situation ? Any advice guidance is greatly accepted… Thanks
