At my wits end with antidepressants

Recommended Posts

I can honestly say that I am at my wits end as far as antidepressants go. I've been on most every antidepressant you can think of and I'm sick of it. I wanted to try the TMS therapy but they never got back to me. I'm now on 2 mood stabilizers and am going to try Trintelex yet again. Mostly the only relief I get is abusing Adderall but then that doesn't last long and ends up me being more depressed.

Well for me they took away all feelings good and bad and just made me numb all the time.  I was a walking zombie that was so much better for the people around me.  The people around us will only care that we're so much calmer and easier to deal with.  They won't care whatsoever what we want out of life.  Luckily I don't have to impress anyone anymore and jump through hoops for them anymore.  The circus animal has retired and isn't putting on more performances for the ungrateful public!

i've had the same problem too..i've tried them all.

i hope TMS works for you ....if not you can also look into Ketamine and ECT. A friend is looking into Ketamine...it is expensive and I dont think the insurance is covering it yet, but I've heard that it helps ..i haven't personally met anyone in real life that has done it, i've just read success stories on forums and studies online...but i really wish you relief

what type of alternatives will you look into? did you try MAOI's ? those are supposed to be very good at working, and a last resort. I tried those but I had no luck with them either. The latest on the market is Emsam.
