epictetus' 'Change a saying game', Part 2

Re-starting this great thread....

In this game, you post the first part of a proverb  and the next person has to complete it and post the first part of another proverb.

For example:   An apple a day....

gets very boring.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't...

fit one in a bathtub
