Yes, baked macaroni and cheese. My mom used to make it and now I do.

Any plans for Halloween this year? Will you dress up?

I'd like to. I have bins of costume clothing so the dressing up part is secure but I'm unsure if I'll have any place to go. What I mean by that is a costume party that's organized by friends, it's a tradition slowly that seems to be fading as we grow older. I can always try and be brave and attend some event put on by complete strangers.

I'll be attending two concerts September - which is more than I've gone 2 years. When was the last live music show you attended, who played and was it enjoyable?

The last live music show I attended was the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Christmas show. It was so awesome! Great music, snow* falling from the ceiling, fire, violinists on moving platforms, lazers...I highly recommend it! (*Don't bother straightening your hair!)

What book should I read next? I enjoy uplifting literature, urban fantasy with strong female protagonists, poetry, and the occasional steamy romance.

Perhaps I should just add 1,000 Books to Read Before You Die: A Life-Changing List by James Mustich to my Goodreads list.

What is the last album you played all the way through?

Slowdive by Slowdive. Cause I was in the mood for moody vocal harmonies but I didn't want to get distracted by lyrics.

What's the last magazine you picked up and read?

Probably a People magazine or something of the sort at the dentist's office.

I use to love reading women's magazines in my teens and early 20s--I even fantasized about working for one--but I guess I lost interest as the Internet took over.

Is there a museum or historical landmark you'd like to visit eventually?

Many many. I dig museums and I've yet to visit some of the world's most renown. I'd like to see the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, Russia, Museo Del Prado in Madrid and Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Landmarks, too many but I'll mention the Giza pyramid complex in Egypt. Closer to home, I guess Las Vegas is supposed to be really something?

Is there a far away town or city that has special meaning to you and you'd like to visit but haven't?

@Atra If you ever make it down here, check out the Dali Museum in St. Pete, as well as the art museum and the Holocaust museum.

Also, the Prado is amazing, and the Reina Sofia if you like modern art! One day I need to visit the Louvre.

New Orleans! Ever since I picked up my first Anne Rice novel in middle school I've dreamt of eating beignets at Cafe du Monde or roaming the French Quarter and the Garden District. I want to meet a voodoo healer and eat my weight in etoufee, gumbo, and jambalaya.

Also I really, really need to get to Barcelona. I love the south of Spain and spending a month in Salamanca was a highlight of my life, but I've yet to visit Barcelona. La Sombra De Viento is one of my all-time favorite books.

My husband is Jewish and has always wanted to go to Israel, so I'd love to go to Tel Aviv with him.

I could keep going...

If you had the space and the money, what kinds of things would you collect?

I would get a really good stereo system ( I still listen to vinyl, cd`s and cassettes). I would love for my vinyl collection to grow and I would also like to expand my Star Wars collection. Yes I am a nerd lol! I would also love to get some of the really rare Morrissey/Smiths items.

Is there anything you`re looking forward to ?

The only way I Know how to post pictures in the members gallery is to chose pics I have saved to my google cloud or on my chromebook. I'm not sure how you would do it with a URL, but one of the mods should be able to tell you.

Do you support any sports teams or athletes? Is it out of family tradition, cultural or national pride, or do you just admire them for a particular reason?

This is a really crap answer but, um no.

I guess when I was younger my biggest interest was in my local ice hockey team.  They're pretty hot. In many ways 😜 But I wasn't thinking like that when I was little, of course! It was ferocious, fast and had lights and cool music. We used to go quite frequently with my dad. That's about as close as I got to supporting a team.  We kinda stopped as we got a bit older. Things change I guess. Probably for the best as I would have had a rampant crush on one of them in my teens!!

Do you envisage that your life will change substantially in time or mostly stay the same? Does it comfort you to think of it remaining stable or are you more excited by switching things up?

It will change eventually, in a lot of bad ways. People are getting older and sicker, and I'm realizing that my older relatives won't always be here. I feel like we're living on borrowed time and it scares me.

Do you think you have more book smarts, street smarts, or people skills?

Supermarkets. I have a thing about people getting in my way when I'm trying to get passed them. Also I get frustrated quickly when I can't find something because it's not where I expect it to be.

What food or drink is reliably restorative, that is, you feel improved once you've consumed it?

Do you consider yourself an adventurous eater or do you like to stick to familiar foods ?

I do not think I am. But I know people who think Indian food and sushi are adventurous so... ?

Can you give yourself goosebumps by lightly brushing your fingertips over the back or side of you neck?
