Haha.  I don't mind hospital food.  It's supposed to be healthy.  😁

Healthy you're funny.  Every time I'm in the hospital for a week or more I put on 20 pounds.  You're right it should be healthy but the food they bring you is some of the most unhealthy food you'll come across.  There's so much starch and sugar and fat in everything they give you.

Oh ours is most definitely healthy.

Just has no taste at all to it, might as well be chewing my pillow for the same taste profile

Don't be oversold on the chainsaw,  just make sure that the chainsaw is 2" larger then the tree you want to cut down (if you want a single pass cut)

Or get a short bladed Chainsaw and cut "V" shapes, but then you'd need safety lines etc

Thanks for the advice.  I would forget to measure much like when the dryer went bad I just went to the store and picked one out without measuring and when they got it here they had to take off the door to get it inside.🙄

If in doubt get something small that you can control easily, I have a 10" (Tiny) that I use for pretty much everything except the largest trees (I call my Brother for that - 30" plus)

I ordered take out 😄

The NHS is amazing, the catering does let it down, but with all teh allergies, religions and Vegans, Veggies etc around I can see why they have to make everything Bland

Gorgeous Vietnamese place round the corner from the Hospital, working my way down the menu

Just been re evuating my Bucket list.

You're lucky you got a hospital that allowed you to bring in take out food.  Many hospitals make you eat their food.  I'm never spending the night in a hospital again.  The food is terrible.  The people are terrible.  You get 2 or 3 hours of sleep a night because the workers are like loud obnoxious kids most of the time even if it's the middle of the night they are out there having their own little party not caring if you get sleep or not.

Pretty standard here. We have specialist Delivery Companies (like Deliveroo?) that only delivery to the Hospitals in Leeds. Mind you makes money so cant be surprised.

I lost my bunk mate this morning, he got sent home. Waiting to see who is next. Yeah sleep is hard, especially when they need to take vitals every 2 hours 😞

Don't get me started on Kids

I probably missed something, but what's happening that will keep you from seeing grandkids?

Sorry if you already explained it.

I don't remember explaining about what occurred with my older daughter. At the time that My younger daughter deserted me while I was struggling with the Dr.B refusing to refill the meds, my older daughter stated that she did not have room for her sister to move in with her because she already had 3 unrelated people living at her house, along with 1 stepson, 4 of her kids between 2 and 11. when I said that I thought family mattered to her. she responded "God no wonder Nicole left, your drama has gotten worse and you need to get over yourself"  I did send the grandkids a box of easter stuff and the youngest a birthday present and asked that someone send a text that the boxes were received. And I have not heard from her or the grandkids since February.

Do they really have to take vitals every 2 hours or take blood at 4 AM of course not but they don't really care.

You and @duck have had me laffing about hospital food.  Oh, I needed that.  And, "taste profile"?  (Is that like a Bristol Stool Chart?)  You're gonna give Gordon Ramsay a run for his money.  But I digress....

Glad i could provide some light relief

I like very pungent flavours so pretty much everything "British" I need to spice up somehow

I had a bad exam yesterday, not terrible, but still it ruined my good streak. Then as I was walking out of the exam I tripped and fell, my phone smashed on the floor and now every time i use it I get glass in my fingers.

I talked to the one I have a crush on and we're going out tomorrow.  I'm so happy and excited I could puke all over myself.  I've been dancing and singing everywhere I go ever since I talked to this person.  Oh god I feel so good today!

Nope, no insurance. I'm going to have to use my birthday money to repair it. It's just a shame I'm so clumsy, my parents don't know yet and I know they won't be happy with me.

Took my motorcycle with me to my doctors appointment today. While walking in someone commented on it which has been common since I've had the Thruxton. Not sure why but it does attract a lot of attention. Will be using the Thruxton as my main way around for a few weeks. I'm not complaining about that! It's very fun to just get out on back roads and not have to worry about anything.

The appointment is a follow up with my hernia surgeon after dealing with the pain clinic. I'm not sure what I'll be told this time.

Thank you I'm so happy but I'm the most emotional person on earth.  I have to keep control of my emotions through this more than anything.

oh me too, I get carried away so easily. Still, I will keep my hopes up for you that this goes well. Just enjoy this feeling whilst it's here. But really, I am so happy for you. These moments are what helps pull as through life.

The best I can say is that my anxiety level is low. Given the volume of work I need to get done, I should be climbing the walls. But I'm quite calm about stuff right now. It's a lot like anhedonia, I think.
