epictetus' "Create Your Own Minimal Poem For Today" Thread, Part Two

Recommended Posts

Epictetus explains this so much better than me, so here is the first post from the original thread.  Get creative, let us know what you feel!

A minimal poem is a poem one line in length or less. It can be one or two words which when put together express a mood or feeling: For example: lonely: one spoon, one fork, one knife.

It can be surrealistic: spherical toothbrush

or whimsical: microscopic telescope

or personal: very portable sadness

or anything: depressed vacuum cleaner

There is no right or wrong mimimal poem. Whatever expresses you in a line or less is the poem.

Here's mine for today:

electric ice.

What is your miminal poem for the day???

How to live with it all can be so overwhelming.

Compressed
Reduced
Dismembered
Minimized
Simplified to simplest expression
Expurgated of the useless and superfluous
Range of choices limited
Focused
Narrowed
An arrow, light, straight and sharp
A line
A point

I'm a human doormat.

People constantly entering when their not welcome.

Ignoring me.

Trampling on my feelings.

And I just put up with it in silence.
