The Controller (2008) - 6 out of 10 - A billionaire has 8 hours to get his wife back, with help from armchair combat professionals. Even though he is the CEO of a Game Development Company, he has never played a video game. The kidnappers are now requiring that he complete a mission in his new game and he must survive else something bad will happen to his wife. So, he recruits the top six players on the leaderboard and promises them each $1M if they participate and are successful. Even though the gamers are playing on X-Boxes, the graphics are more like that of the 32-bit era. Besides that, it actually is a half-decent movie.

Mr. Mom (1983) - 7 out of 10 - Jack and Caroline are a couple making a decent living When Jack suddenly loses his job. They agree that he should stay at home and look after the house while Caroline works. It's just that he's never done it before, and really doesn't have a clue. Stars Michael Keaton, Teri Garr and Martin Mull.

9 to 5 (1980) - 7 out of 10 - Frank Hart is a pig. He takes advantage in the grossest manner of the women who work with him. When his three assistants manage to trap him in his own house, they assume control of his department and productivity leaps, but just how long can they keep Hart tied up? Stars Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dabney Coleman.

Puppet Master 5: The Final Chapter (1994) - 6 out of 10 - Picks up directly where Puppet Master 4 left off. The puppets renew their battle with their most powerful enemy yet as they protect the new puppet master from the demon god that created the Secret of Life. Spoiler Alert: This was NOT the final chapter.

The Long Haul (1957) - 7 out of 10 - An American ex-GI takes a job as a truck driver to support his British war bride Connie. It isn't long, however, before Harry is blackmailed into joining a smuggling operation run by a conniving criminal. Stars Victor Mature and Diana Dors.

Repeat Performance (1947) - 7 out of 10 - Broadway star Sheila Page, shoots Barney, her evil husband, on New Year's Eve. She flees her apartment and goes to her producer, John Friday. Along the way she makes a wish to be able to fix the mistakes of the past year. When she arrives at Friday's party, it is New Year's day a year earlier. She has been given the chance to live life over and correct the errors of the past. Stars Louis Hayward, Joan Leslie Tom Conway and Richard Basehart.

Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys (2004) - 7 out of 10 - A group of toymakers seek to use Andre Toulon's formula, now in the hands of Toulon's great-nephew Robert, to give life to a line of demonic toys that they plan to unleash on Christmas Eve. A great crossover movie that brings two of the best campy series together. Corey Feldman plays his part beautifully. You'll only enjoy this if you enjoy schlock horror.

Chisum (1970) - 8 out of 10 - Based on real life events that happened in the New Mexico Territory between 1878 and 1881. Cattle baron John Chisum joins forces with Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett to fight the Lincoln County land war. Stars John Wayne, Forrest Tucker and Ben Johnson.

The Entity (1982) - 8 out of 10 - Based on documented real life events. Carla Moran, a hard-working single mother, is raped in her bedroom by someone - or something - that she cannot see. Despite skeptical psychiatrists, she is repeatedly attacked in her car and her house by this invisible force. Could this be a case of hysteria or something more horrific?

Revenge of the Nerds (1984) - 7 out of 10 - At Adams College, the jocks rule the school from their house on high, the Alpha Beta fraternity. So when a group of socially-challenged misfits try to go Greek, they're instantly rejected by every house on campus. Deciding to start their own fraternity to protect their outcast brothers, the campus nerds soon find themselves in a battle royal as the Alpha Betas try to crush their new rivals.

Chosen Survivors (1974) - 6 out of 10 - A group of diverse individuals are suddenly taken from their homes and flown via helicopter to a futuristic bomb shelter in the desert, nearly two miles below the surface of the Earth. There they learn that a nuclear holocaust is taking place and that they've been "chosen" by computer to survive in the shelter in order to continue the human race. The shelter is designed to allow the people to exist underground comfortably for years, but they are faced with a threat nobody could have predicted: a colony of thousands of bloodthirsty vampire bats finds a way into the shelter and launches a series of vicious attacks where they claim the humans one by one. Starts off strong, falls apart midway through.

Battle for the Lost Planet (1986) - 6 out of 10 - To escape his captors, an industrial spy hijacks a space shuttle only to find the controls malfunctioning. Catapulting through outer space, he sights alien battleships approaching earth. Many years later when the arc of his flight path returns him to earth, he discovers the planet is completely under alien domination, totally devastated by thermo-nuclear battles. Desperate and alone, he searches for any human existence. Finding a group of survivors, together they fight the aliens to save mankind. If this movie had the benefit of a better cast and an actual budget, it could have been something of note.

When graduate student Greg Chambers encounters the seismic readings, he rushes to tell his professor, Anthony McAlister. Greg suspects that a massive earthquake is about to give the small island a rude awakening. To make matters worse, the epicenter is right under Pajero Island's new resort, where Anthony's estranged wife Lynn is working. As they drive to warn Lynn, the quake tears through the small town, damaging downtown and leveling several homes. The bridge connecting the island to the mainland is wiped out. Lynn and three others are trapped underground in the resort's utility tunnels.

Sent by her boss to Colorado to investigate the cause of a devastating tornado, she meets Will Stanton (Wolf Larson), Field Coordinator for FEMA. One night, while working closely together examining the wreckage of the recent storm, Jamie and Will experience a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon - a ball of lightning falling from the sky connecting with the ground all around them. As Will tries to shield Jamie from the lightning, the two embrace and find themselves in a passionate kiss. The next day Jamie and Will return to the location. What they discover is a facility where waste from scientific experimentation is affecting the atmosphere causing the tornadoes. Armed with the new information and seven new tornadoes on the horizon, Jamie and Will prepare the already tornado ravaged town for another possible disaster!

I watched Watcher and that was a good movie.  7.5 rating I think.  I related to the main character very well actually.

Right now I'm watching Where the Scary Things Are.  The acting is so bad you would be afraid to let anyone watch it if you were in the movie and anyone that would be afraid of this movie would be afraid of getting a haircut or they would be afraid of mowing the yard.  Get me off this thing before I wreck they would say.  They would be afraid of walking across a floor someone just mopped because they might fall.  It's very hard to give something a 0 rating but I'm going to.
