APFSDS 2,008 Posted July 30, 2018 Hot. Inside the flat it's even hotter. We were supposed to get thunder today, but nope... :I
evalynn 22,034 Posted August 2, 2018 It's pouring and it's kind of nice. I don't have anywhere to go, the dog has been walked twice so far today, so I can just lie here under the covers and relax as long as my mind lets me.
Floor2017 6,070 Posted August 2, 2018 It is blazing hot here in MS, that it makes you crazy I wished we were getting some rain to help cool us off with this hot humility.
MarkintheDark 6,177 Posted August 10, 2018 Line of severe storms blowing through early this evening. For one, it finally cools off another one of our scorching hot summer afternoons. More importantly, it means Spot comes tearing in to tell me all about it, planting himself firmly in the cat daddy's lap. Apparently I'm the only one who can protect him from horrible noises.
hocico 13,318 Posted August 19, 2018 (edited) A bit of everything really, earlier I was roasting when I went outside, now the sky is dark and tumultuous and we have torrential rain. Edited August 19, 2018 by hocico
evalynn 22,034 Posted August 19, 2018 It was soooo hot the other day. At one point we were out and we passed a fire station that had a temperature bulletin and it said 100 degrees. Later we were sitting in the garage with a fan on and I suddenly had this flashback to about 10 years ago when I was in the south of Spain in July. At the time, I thought that was the most unbearable heat I'd ever felt, but little did I know my future. I wonder how people were able to live in these climates before the invention of air conditioning without keeling over.
