Batman I really relate to him he is mentally il,l suffers from depression ptsd can't get close to people because of a childhood tramua is distant to people around him. I loved the cartoon in the 90s growing up I watched all the movies played all the batman games, I have even bought a few of the comics to read during hurricane sandy lol They are hidden in my house in a box and im the only one who knows of them

Also the hound from game of thrones he is burned as his brother as a child comes off as a a******, tries to do the right thing but still comes off as a a******, is sarcastic has a vulgar mouth is unfriendly lol i relate to him to much. I like charcaters that have psychological struggles

Batman has always seemed like the most right wing hero. He could have used his wealth to alleviate the poverty in Gotham City and stop people turning to a life of crime. Nope, spend millions on some kickass gadgets and beat the crap out of the underclass. I'm probably overthinking this.

I remember liking Rogue from watching X-men cartoons hung over. Inadvertentely hurts anyone who touches her. The old hedgehog dilemna. I can relate to that. I'm probably overthinking this.

Yeah, Batman's always been a controversial one. Although I'd probably say Judge Dredd is the most right-wing comic book character. At least Batman doesn't k1ll people.

Before Civil War, I would've said Captain America was my favorite. But now, I would definitely say Spider-Man (Homecoming was awesome). It's kind of funny because I think the Raimi movies were the first superhero movies I watched as a kid. Full circle!

I also like the Netflix Daredevil. Yeah it's dark, but he's more relatable to me than superheroes usually get, so that's a plus.

Rorschach, from Alan Moore's Watchmen comic.

"Soon there will be war. Millions will burn. Millions will perish in sickness and misery. Why does one death matter against so many? Because there is good and there is evil, and evil must be punished. Even in the face of Armageddon I shall not compromise in this. But there are so many deserving of retribution ... and there is so little time."

Edit: I should add I don't really think he's heroic, or even a good guy. He certainly wasn't written to be a superhero. But he's the character I most relate to in any comic I've ever read. He had a horrific childhood, suffered from mental illness, and couldn't trust anybody else enough to let them help him. Kovacs didn't have any super powers; he was just a dude who'd been kicked around who tried to do the right thing. And he never, ever, stopped fighting.

Tim Drake. The third Robin. Red Robin. Preboot version only though, cause Nu52 messed him up so bad.

I also like Batman. If by Batman, you mean Richard Grayson. 😏

Probably my favorite show when I was in 7th grade! My friend and I were obsessed... after school, we'd talk on the phone during every episode.

Lol I used to buy Sailor Moon sticker cards from Safeway and then I'd trade them with my friends 😅

Hey @vega57 , cats are superheroes!  Does your stray have an ear tip (part of the upper ear tip cleanly cut off)? If so, he or she is a community cat and is already spayed or neutered. If not, any vet can scan for a microchip for free in case the baby is lost.   Apologies if this is stuff you already know.  I should look for a thread for cat people (okay, dog people too).

I suppose for the original topic, as a kid it was Wonder Woman and Godzilla from the 1960's (in later movies he battled other monsters). Aquaman was great too.

No didn't know this but yep they sure do, 2 now. Same color with tipped ears. The first is very trusting but the second one doesn't trust us so I have to place it's food and water away from us. Interesting info. Txs
