I frequently feel physically sick, alongside of depression. I feel ill, my head hurts, and just nauseous and too weak to do much. My parents/doctor/boss always thought it was because I was lazy, but I feel this way even when I want to do something...

I get that sometimes as well. If it's very frequent though something's up.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I often get physically sick when I'm really depressed. I can get nausea, headaches, fatigue and sleep problems sometimes.

Yup, it's not made-up/laziness. I think there's something wrong with your doc to just chalk it up to laziness. :/

Absolutely. My anxiety contributes to my chest pains and I wonder how much my depression affected my blood pressure.

Yeah when I'm very depressed I also feel unexplainably sick, I'll know that's what's up because it's a very distinct sick feeling with a little anxiety that doesn't have any other cause. You'd be surprised how much your mental state effects how you feel physically, depression can lead to all sorts of issues because of your body not working as well as it should.
