Grief from the loss of family members, insomnia, isolation (a big problem for me) and just anxiety with life are my major contributors. Still trying to work on not isolating myself from everyone.

My depression was triggered by chronic pain and immobility following a six day stay at the hospital nine months ago. :( Still not fixed. Doctors say it can take up to 2-3 years for my spine to repair itself. I'm currently seeking a third opinion, because, right now, I can move around for about 2-3 hours before I have to lay down for the rest of the day. This health disaster has negatively impacted my life in every way, and I tired of waiting for my life to restart.

I was looking for what to me is or what I consider a cause of my depression, that being brain chemistry, such as  a lack of neurotransmitters.

Yet that could be like which came first, the Chicken or the egg? As they, whoever they are, as I am still in search of them, say the choices in the list cause the transmitters to be used up faster that we can produce them.
