  1. I hope you had a fantastic day :)

  2. I have been on Cymbalta for 2 1/2 years now and my experience on it has been mostly positive. The only problem is that sometimes (about once every couple of weeks) my anxiety still gets the best of me and I need to take a Xanax or something to calm me down. I am on the highest effective dosage according to my doctor (120 mg) so I know that the next time I go in with this complaint, I will be switched to something else. I've come down off of a different med before and it was awful, so I'm worried about having to be (or at least appear to be!) functional while going through that. I'm not really sure if I should just wait it out and see if things get better over time, or have my doctor switch me to something else....is this as good as it gets??
  3. Hi all, I have the good fortune of having a very open and honest relationship with my boyfriend of 2 years. After years of suffering through failed relationships, I have finally figured out that if I need something from a boyfriend I need to tell him in plain old english. :) As for when I am feeling depressed, I've told him that I simply always just need to be held and told that everything will be OK. And no depressive episode goes by without a "debriefing" type of conversation once I have come out of it. These honest conversations help me to figure out triggers and more things I can tell him to do when I am upset. Moreover, it always helps me to put HIS fears to rest--something I often forget about when I am suffering myself, that it makes him suffer a little too! Just a few things I have found to help us manage this!
