  2. Hey Teddy, Sorry to hear that's going on. People can be influenced by those on the 'other side'. In order to protect yourself make sure first that you keep a high and loving vibration. As far as the others in your family it's hard to determine what to do. My best advice would be to connect you to someone much more knowledgeable than me. I do know some named Chris Mitchell aka 'Chrism' on. He is a spiritual teacher with a group on facebook. I know he has dealt with these kinds of things. He maybe able to help you.   3. Hey Eye, This is my wheelhouse so I'll share everything I know :) Keep in mind nothing here is medical advice. Gyan Mudra - Have you ever seen a picture of a monk meditating and his finger tips are touching? I never understood what that was. I always thought it was just something to do with your hands while meditating. What I came to learn is that these hand gestures actually do have a healing effect on you. Mudras are also known as yoga for the hands. This one is the cornerstone mudra(hand gesture). You simply gently touch the tip of your index finger to the tip of your thumb for both hands. The other 3 fingers are gently outstretched. When you do this it triggers a healing, relaxing and uplifting effect on your whole being. You will feel happier, calmer and your spirits will be boosted. It also brings you back to simpler, brighter times and also enhances focus/concentration, relieves headaches, strengthens the nervous and endocrine systems, and other benefits as well! Do this whenever you like and as long as you'd like. You can do it while watching TV or you can have your hands in your pockets in public while doing it. This technique is so incredibly simple, easy and yet very powerful. Seriously, try it right now and tell me you don't feel better after 5 minutes of doing it. But doing at least 30 minutes a day will yield the best results. It's also good if you're having a panic attack or you need to diffuse some kind of nervousness. If you don't want to do longer more complicated chants just start with OOOOOMMMMMM saying it gently and peacefully. You can do it out loud or in your mind. Doing it mentally is more powerful and you don't have to worry about someone hearing you and thinking you're weird :) I Love You Exercise - This exercise you just focus on your heart or any uncomfortable feeling within you and say ‘I Love You’ repeated times. This will help heal and re-balance anything that is out of balance in you. I know it sounds really corny and hallelujah but it REALLY does work. If you look up ‘Emoto Water Crystals’ you’ll see that when loving thoughts are placed upon water crystals they regain their full, original pristine shape whereas negative thoughts make it ugly and distorted. Same goes for us. Love is the highest vibration in existence so it’ll heal you and bring you back to your original, healthy happy form by practicing it daily on yourself. Acupuncture - Acupuncture is one of the most popular, ancient healing modalities around is excellent for getting deep into the nervous system to treat the underlying causes of illness and disease including depression and anxiety. I go about it by talking to several practitioners in the area and feeling them out. I go with one I get a good vibe from, like if they are warm, friendly, seem genuinely interested in helping me and if they seem knowledgeable. I avoid the opposite. Flower Essences - Flower essences are vibrational plant medicines that have been used for thousands of years by indigenous cultures the world over. Flower essences work at an energetic or vibrational level to gently yet powerfully bring about beneficial changes at physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. I get mine from Siddatech whom I personally know and trust the formulator of these products. Magnets - Magnetism is very beneficial for your health. The whole Earth is one big magnet and is necessary for our well being. Astronauts need to bring magnets with them or else they start getting sick because they are so far away from the Earth's field. Also if you get the bigger ones keep them away from the TV, computer or other electronics. Master Cleanse/Lemonade Diet - This is basically a water/lemon fast done for 10 days. This allows the body to ‘reset’ and get rid of toxins and damaged cells. I have done this myself and I felt better afterwards. Many other people report feeling way more energy, more clarity, feeling happier and calmer, overcoming illnesses, pain reduction and just feeling better in general. There are people some very gifted people who do energy healing as well. A lot I don't trust but I do know a few who really do have power and have helped many people.   4. Hey Saz, I don't know if you ever heard of Bach Flower Remedies but they help get to the root cause of imbalances and alleviate them. If you go to Vitamin Shoppe there's a brand called Siddatech and they have a product for Sleep. I know the formulator personally, he's a really smart compassionate guy and he knows his stuff.   5. Hey grod, I am 30 and am living at home and rely on my parents for money, support etc. I just got a seasonal job so that's something. But I have been so screwed up from depression/anxiety that I simply can't function. You can get decent jobs without a degree. Everyone tells you that a degree is essential but it's not. I have plenty of friends who graduated and weren't able to get jobs with their degree. Make baby steps and start with easy obtainable goals. A lot of people struggle with similar issues so don't get so down on yourself. So many of us are debilitated and struggling with life. Things will work out one way or another so try to keep your chin up!
  6. Hey squeakels, Magnesium is really helpful for easing anxiety and promoting deeper sleep. You may want to consider taking that. Magnesium glycinate and citrate are good kinds, avoid oxide. L-theanine also helps a lot with relaxation and sleep. Same goes for CBD oil, it is helpful for easing anxiety You only want to take benzos when you really need them.   7. Hey Just the Wind, I've struggled with severe anxiety and depression since I was young as well and I'm 30 now. I've tried just about everything under the sun as well with little to no luck. There a couple things I have found recently that have helped somewhat though. CBD Oil - Is derived from cann-a-bis but without the THC so you don't get the 'high' feeling. It has helped me feel calmer, more relaxed and picks up my mood. Also helps with pain relief. The body has cannabinoid receptors so it appears to be beneficial and natural to take. From what I’ve read and understand it is safe if taken as recommended. I’ve never had any side effects or issues with it. We are multidimensional beings so right now you just maybe feeling things that are from different aspects of consciousness. I'm sure it will pass with a little time. Like Diego said, get your feet on the earth to help ground you, go for walks outside and avoid sugary/processed foods as they trigger anxiety and depression. There is more than meets the eye than just this physical dimension so no you're not crazy. You can always ask the Universe or your Higher Self for help if you are having difficulty integrating what you're experiencing. You'll be OK just give your body some time to process this.   9. Hi GrayFlowers, I hope you're feeling better. I constantly made the mistake in the past of getting jobs in which I couldn't handle the stress. I think I just wanted so badly to believe I was well enough and normal enough of a person to do it like everyone else but the stress would eventually make my depression worse. This summer I made sure to get a job which I know I can handle the stress. I don't have to dread going to work or prepare for battle. I guess my advice would be to know your limits and take on a job you can handle and also enjoy. If you feel an antidepressant is the best route for you so be it but do your best to balance yourself without them if you can. Things like meditation, better diet, getting certain supplements like magnesium, Vit D, CBD oil, apple cider vinegar etc can really make a big difference and have allowed people to stop their meds. I've done a ton of research regarding alternate ways to cure depression so if you're interested in things other than meds feel free to message me and I'll be happy to share them with you.   10. Hey ladysmurf, I was researching NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine) and heard it was good for OCD and thought I'd mention it to you. If you go to the nootropics section of reddit there's hundreds of different things out there so there maybe more supplements/substances that could help you out. I've been on there lately and I'm learning a ton. Although I've heard of using magnesium before I've rediscovered how important it is for relaxation, improved mood etc. so you should probably look into that also.
  11. Hi Sloth, I felt like I was reading my own post. I am 30 and have always dealt with severe lack of energy but unfortunately also accompanied with severe depression, hopelessness. I have always worked out and recently been eating extremely clean and healthy that hasn't done anything for me either. You could be deficient in a certain mineral or vitamin. For example Vitamin D3. I always thought mine was good because I always go outside for walks and get sunlight. But when I got tested I was severely low the minimum. So this is not medical advice but taking Vitamin D3 is something you may want to consider since it is important to the body and you're probably deficient in also. Vitamin B12 is another one. It is very important in energy production. Most people are deficient in this one too so you may want to get a supplement for this. METHYL-cobalamin not CYANO-cobalamin. Probiotics are yet another one people don't regularly get. They perform a lot of important functions in your gut. Pearls is a good brand or you can buy raw sauerkraut from Whole Foods and eat it naturally. Acupuncture may balance you out as well. It gets deep into the nervous system to unblock things that could be clogging up your energy. Master Cleanse/Lemonade Diet - This is basically a water/lemon fast done for 10 days. This allows the body to ‘reset’ and get rid of toxins and damaged cells. I have done this myself and I felt better afterwards. So hopefully this gives you some ideas. My impression is that you do have something biological going on that makes you feel low motivation. I notice on days if I happen to sleep well or the planets align and I have more energy my workouts are more productive, I can get things done, I am more involved in life and not dwelling on my depression.   12. Hey Alex, You're definitely not alone with how you feel. I always have (and still do) have a hard time interacting with people and making eye contact. I often feel disrespected by people and not always treated the way I would like. I had an extremely difficult time making friends at school and being accepted. I am fairly handsome guy but my looks have not been able to help me feel the way I want. It's not that no one cares it's just that people are so worried about their own selves that it's just hard to focus attention onto others. Everyday I feel like this is prison and I am making a tally in the wall each passing day when death arrives which is when the sentence will end. Everyday I see new people that state similar issues as well. So I think a lot of us are tired of life and are eagerly awaiting for it to end. Pretend your driving a car. One direction is a beach oasis that's warm, sunny with nothing but good friends, fun, peace and happiness. Every single feeling and thing you want is there. The other direction is a barren crappy wasteland that is miserable. So if you're driving the car just steer towards the oasis and stay on course as best as possible. Screw the wasteland don't even waste your time driving in that direction. Just get to healing, peace, happiness and the feelings you want as fast as possible. There will be times when you can't help but drive towards the negativity and that's fine. Let it out. But then afterwards just get back on the road towards the oasis. Beating yourself up just guarantees you'll stay miserable. Look up 'emoto water crystals' online. You'll see that water crystals that were told loving things had a perfect, pristine, bright structure and those told bad things looked ugly, distorted and broken. I know it's not easy but try to focus on the things about yourself you do like or do well. Because there's a positive and negative viewpoint to everything. But you choose what you want to focus on. You're doing everything 100% correct all the time. When you drop a plate it's not that you're stupid, you were a master at dropping it. You nailed braking that plate! When you open the fridge say 'look at that, look at my herculean strength that opened that door'. There's an exercise I have been doing called the 'I Love You' exercise. I have noticed this past week I have been feeling more brighter, calmer and happier since doing it. You just sit down, relax and focus on your heart. Then you say I love You to it for a bit. And really get into it. Don't do it half xxxed. When you do this you start the healing process. All pains, wounds, traumas, obstacles become healed and you start to restore yourself back to your original whole happy form. It really does work. If you listen to nothing or no else do this everyday. Life will turn around so quick you'll be amazed! So that's all I got for now but just hang in there. Everything happens for a reason and everything will work out one way or another. It's just that enduring the growth process is tough. But you're not alone. Message me whenever you want :)
  13. Hey Alex, I try to get on here when I can but lately my own depression/anxiety has been so overwhelming so I don't always have the power to get on here and help people. Definitely wasn't ignoring you, I literally just received the email notification on this thread. But you didn't answer my original question, why do you hate yourself so much? I used to be extremely negative when I was a teen. I used to have a journal and all my thoughts were like, why does life suck? I hate everyone etc. What started getting me thinking positive and coming out of my shell was listening to Anthony Robbins. He's the world renowned motivational speaker. Man if you need help or direction or advice I would definitely start listening to his material. He's awesome. He's changed 1000's upon 1000's of people's lives. I still get negative too don't get me wrong but negative thinking and beating yourself up sucks. It's the worst feeling in the world, I wouldn't even waste your time with it. If you continue saying I'm worthless, stupid etc. you're sealing your fate as being miserable. Screw being miserable. So what's going on exactly that you're so unhappy?   14. Hey Slider, I was gonna say a raw food diet has helped people with skin conditions. Do you eat wheat? Wheat can cause inflammation and conditions in people also. I would look into that and make sure that's not the cause. I would check out meetup dot com. That's a great way to meet new people. Check out something you like or even just curious about. One new friend can introduce you to his friends and then you can have like 10 new friends. That's how it's always worked for me :)
  15. Hey rhyl :) I'm sorry to hear about your headaches. I have been dealing with odd head discomfort recently too which has been stressing me out and making me miserable. As if things weren't hard enough without the head issues. What I've learned is that you always have to do your own research. Unfortunately the so called 'professionals' can be clueless at times. Is there something you can take to help the pain like klonopin? The only thing I can think of that could help you is receiving healing from a gifted energy healer. I know a couple who have real power and have been able to heal people from serious diseases and illnesses. If you're interested I can share the names with you. Just let me know :)

  17. Hi Emily :) I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I may get on clonazepam (klonopin) soon as that seems to help me relax and sleep better. I haven't had any negative side effects with it. I have heard mostly good things from other people also who have taken it regularly for a long time including my dad who has taken it for 20 years. Recently I started taking CBD oil daily and it helps me feel more relaxed, calm and upbeat when I take it. I feel like it has created a buildup effect and I've noticed I just feel better in general. People use it for pain and discomfort. This isn't medical advice but it may help with your negative side effects also. I also started taking magnesium Taurate at night to help me sleep. I've noticed today I am more calm, happier and in the present moment than usual. Try to make sure you're getting the proper vitamins and minerals too. Things like Vit D3, B12 and probiotics are important. You can also use this technique when you feel anxiety or just whenever you want. The best thing is to make sure to eat dark leafy greens, fruits and veggies as they provide pretty much all the nutrients you need to make you feel good.   19. Hey ya'll, just thought I'd share something that has been helping me. I recently have tried CBD oil and it does seem to help me feel more relaxed, calm and positive. Anytime I'm down or anxious it has been coming to help pick me up. People also use it for pain management. From what I've read it's very safe, can be taken multiple times a day and building up a tolerance doesn't seem to be an issue. It also doesn't appear to interfere with medications. It's legal so it can be bought online with no issues. I got mine from Bluebird Botanicals, I have heard good things about them. So just wanted to throw that out there to those looking for anything to help :)
  20. Hi Straight Path :) I always struggled with anxiety and depression and often took on a lot work wise because I always wanted to feel 'normal' and feel like I was strong enough to do it. But I always ended up getting too stressed out and it made me feel worse. If I felt better I know I would be a very ambitious person and do a ton of things but I finally learned after overwhelming myself too much that I simply can't take on too much. Now I am making sure to find lower stress jobs and not put too much on my plate. So I guess my advice would be the same. Nothing is ever worth stressing out and being exhausted over, not even school. You can always go back to school. There's no harm in taking time off and when you come back make sure your work load is well within your capabilities. Make sure you have time to relax and enjoy yourself also. Meditation will help you feel happier and calmer, I would do that for at least 5 minutes a day. Recently I have been taking Kava from Kalm with Kava and CBD oil from Bluebird Botanicals and they have been helping me feel a lot better.   21. I would say trust your intuition and gut. When you talk to someone and if they seem like they are faking being nice or they seem like they have an agenda or for whatever reason something feels off trust your gut and walk away. On the other hand if you genuinely get a good vibe from them then they're probably fine to work with. Also try and find out their credentials, like certifications and and how many years they have been practicing. Preferably you'd want to find someone who has been practicing for a number of years. Maybe try to find yelp reviews or something. And try to find someone who is the same nationality as you. For me when I went to actual Chinese people there was a language barrier and it was hard for them to understand me so I just stuck with Americans. Mind over matter. You can literally heal anything with your thoughts and intention. I'm sure you've heard of the placebo effect. People have created strong healing effects in themselves just with their mind. If you look up Emoto water crystals you'll see he did an experiment where he photographed water crystals. Water crystals where he said nasty things to the crystals were distorted and the ones he said loving things to formed beautiful structures. So your thoughts and intent can literally create change and healing. I would just google mind over matter or emoto to learn more. Hope this helps!
  22. Hi Louis :) Well it depends, to say 'Chinese Medicine' is such a broad category. That's like saying 'do you think Western Medicine will work'? There's so many different medicines, applications under each category. Me personally I tried doing the western medication approach before but ultimately I find Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to be more natural and safer than medications. Yes there are scammers out there so be careful but things like acupuncture and herbals have been around for 1000's of years which have a proven track record of healing people. The main thing I learned is find someone who comes off as very warm, friendly and and seems genuinely interested in helping you get better. Those who come off as cold, blase, indifferent to whether or not you get better are the ones to avoid. First off know that there's been countless occasions where a doctor has claimed something to be incurable yet people have found ways to cure their disease. So I would take his diagnosis with a grain of salt and not the end all be all. Even doctors aren't all knowing when it comes to health. Honestly you know what I think is best is using your mind. Focus on wherever the illness is and put your hand over the area and imagine golden or white light going into the area and healing it. I have been doing that for months and it's actually working on my personal issue. Mind over matter, the mind can do anything. Science proves that also. But like I mentioned there is acupuncture, yoga, herbs, energy healers, magnet therapy, I could go on and on. I know some people who are energy healers that are extremely gifted that have healed many people from serious diseases which have baffled doctors. There's a very real chance they could heal you.   23. Hi Stars :) I see a lot of the same in myself in reading your story. I was happy and had good friends when I was a kid but when I moved in second grade to a new school it was hell. I got teased, picked on, felt uncomfortable, had a hard time making friends. I actually ended up making friends with some of the kids who originally teased me. But still I felt lonely and miserable in school. I absolutely dreaded going everyday. Going to lunch was always stressful when trying to find a table to sit at with people. I remember once I tried sitting with the 'popular' kids and it was awkward. I was always compassionate too with people so I always tried to be nice and I appreciated it when people were nice to me.The nice thing is that when you get older people generally tend to be more mature so school became less difficult. I know it's not always easy but continue being nice and compassionate. Because when you are nice to that person who is lonely or in pain and it makes them feel better that's what will bring you happiness. Not to say you should tolerate abuse or stick around people that are being jerks but know that the mean people are the ones with the problem not you. But most importantly be nice to yourself. Hating yourself is not fair. If you say nice things to yourself everyday your inner issues will heal. But if you keep saying bad things to yourself you will perpetuate your suffering. The world needs more people like you. So know you aren't alone by any stretch.   24. You can get CBD oil which is legal, It just doesn't have the THC. A lot of people use it for depression, anxiety and pain relief. I have tried it recently and I think it helps me feel a little better.
  25. Hi Lezarus, People who aren't depressed will likely have a hard time understand. Heck even others who are depressed can still have some difficulty understanding others who are depressed just because we are all have unique and individual circumstances. But I think we all sympathize with the general feelings if misery, hopelessness, sadness regardless of what the source is. How can I help? Is there anything I can do for you?
