  3. I was actually put on Trazodone at my own request, after hearing it was good for Agoraphobics. I did not realize the helpful dose is such a high one... My doctor basically prescribes me whatever I ask, I'm not sure why. I was recommended Lexapro but had negative results, so I decided on Trazodone. Maybe I oughta look into something else.
  4. I looked through the old archives on Trazodone, but didn't find a whole lot of help... Has anyone else tried this for depression and anxiety? I read a lot of stuff in the archives about it being used mostly as a sleep aid, which was odd and a bit disheartening to me. I started taking it because I had heard about it being a really good medication for Agoraphobics, which is the most pressing of my mental health problems. It does make me tired, but not to the point where I feel the need to sleep. Actually, I would describe it as more of a groggy feeling, since even when I am tired my body seems to fight the urge to actually go to bed. Has anyone had any success using Trazodone as an anti-anxiety med? I am currently on 50mg, planning to go up to 100mg in the next week or so. (I started on it about 4 days ago.) Any advice is appreciated.
  5. Paxil didn't really interfer with my sleep habits, although I've always had trouble sleeping and no medication has seemed to help. Paxil did give me amazing dreams though, which I actually enjoyed.
  6. Does anyone have any more info on the risk of seizures with Wellbutrin? Someone told me that this risk was increased if you drank alcohol while on it, is this true? It is one of the main reasons I have not tried Wellbutrin yet.
  7. I was on Lexapro for a month and it did not help me at all -- in fact, a couple of people pointed out that it seemed to have made my behavior worse. Usually I would give a medication longer to start working, but my doctor had me under the impression that this one was supposed to kick in a lot quicker than most. All I got was lots of bad side effects -- jaw clenching, exhaustion, and nausea that did not get better with time. I was on 10mg, and not looking forward to upping my dose to see if it made an improvment. I was a bit dissapointed, after hearing how well Lexapro worked for so many people. But I'm trying something new now, so we'll see...
