  1. I'm taking Celexa at night before bed right now, and I do pretty well getting to sleep. The first three weeks it made me really tired in the morning, so I slept in late. Now after about 5 weeks I am finding I can get up easier, though still tired, so I may switch to the mornings soon. I'm sure you get more benefit if you take it in the morning. I really don't think the time of day matters with how much of a benifit you will get from the medication. You just need a steady level in your blood (basicly take them at the same time every day).
  2. Happy Birthday :)

  3. Hmmm..... That's an interesting question. I'm not sure about that. I thought you needed an even level amount of medication in your system and that's why it's so important to take your meds at the same time every day. I don't think there is a time when your meds work better than other times of the day. I think you should talk to your doctor to be sure what he thinks you should do.
  4. I have been taking my meds at night now for about a week, and I notice a huge difference. I am no longer sleepy through the day and I have more energy.
  5. I was wondering what time people take their AD's. I was taking mine in the morning but it was making me tired through the day. I switched yesterday to taking them at night to see if that makes a difference. Did anyone else have to do this? Did it help you any?
  6. When I first started taking celexa, I had really dry skin on the sides of my torso. This side effect went away though.
  7. This is a great idea and it has really helped me in some situations.I keep about three pills in a container in my purse in case I forget. That way, if I'm out then I have a back up.
  8. Hello everyone, I'm Paula. I'm dealing with depression as well as anxiety. I just started taking 20 mg celexa, I'm on my fourth week on it. I live in Canada so I get the seasonal depression as well.
  9. I have been on celexa for a month now and my dreams are extremely vivid. They are not nightmares, they are just really intense. I am starting a dream log to write down the dreams, because most of them are very interesting.
