  1. I hope you have a fantastic day :)

  2. My doctor just upped my dose to 60 mg. I am starting to feel much better.
  3. Called my doctor to ask him, and he upped my Paxil dose to 60 mg. I am currently on 3 mg of Klonopin. He said to lower it to 2 mg and see what happens. Can Klonopin make you more depressed????
  4. My State Senator emailed me back and he's going to check up on my case!!! :)
  5. Amiok, just don't get discouraged if you get rejected on your initial application, most people do. This blog by a lawyer answers a lot of questions : Thanks for the link. I'm praying that I'll be one of the "lucky" ones that gets approved on the first time. :)
  6. Well, I applied online February 17th...I got letters from my husband and former boss explaining how my depression/anxiety affect me home, and how it affected me at work. Also got my doctor to fill out the RFC form for me, and he wrote me a good letter. Sent all this in, along with all the documents they required (med. rel. forms, my birth cert., etc.) Just check online and they are processing my application. Wish me luck!
  7. $350.00/wk. Madeleine, if you don't have enough points you will not get SSDI. SSI is a form of federal welfare and with an income of 350.00 a week I seriously doubt you'd qualify for that either. You can apply online to start the process, it took me about 18 months to get approved (for SSDI). I was rejected on my inital application but got approved on appeal with an attorney. Just remember that SSDI is insurance based on what you paid into the system while SSI is federal welfare, they are 2 different things. You should try to find out if there is any possibility of getting it (SSDI), based on your former husbands earnings. Good idea, John. If you were married for 10 years or longer, I believe you'd be entitled to it based on his earnings. Good luck Mad!
  8. It's apparently linked to some people who have OCD...BDD is where you think you look hideous, even though you are good looking, etc. People will spend hours in the mirror, grooming, etc. Or even harm the part of their body/face that they don't like. Body Dysmorphic disorder, I've been diagnosed with it. I have a tendancy to pick at imperfections on my skin, obsess over my weight and looks, have a giant fear of mirrors tho, have panic attacks if I have to look in one. I even obsess about getting plastic surgery on every last inch of my body. What would you like to know about it? Anything and everything. My step son has this. He is at a hospital for a loooong time because he's in bad shape. He's tried almost every medication and his OCD and BDD are SO severe, nothing works for him. I'm worried about him. He is only 14. What can I do to help him?

  10. Does anyone have this or know any info on it? I know someone that has it.
  11. $350.00/wk. You may be able to qualify for SSI...have you looked into that? They don't take work credits into account.
  12. Oh man, I'm so sorry. I am going through the SSDI process, but I do have enough credits to qualify. Can you get SSI??
  13. For some reason, on Paxil, I LOSE weight. Not sure why...I think most people gain on it?
