I've been reading through this topic and it's so comforting to know that other people have this same problem. It feels so embarrassing and weird when I think about it myself - it makes me feel like there's something wrong with me. But I'm starting to realize that this is actually a common issue.

I've just signed up - I'm in a bad place at the moment and I needed somewhere I could find people who are also going through what I am or have been where I currently am and could offer some advice or guidance. All help is greatly appreciated. I have acknowledged the past few months that I have celebrity worship syndrome, but it's really hit the fan the last few weeks. I need to get myself out of this loop.
