  1. It's normal to be scared or apprehensive about how people will interpret what you say. It's a tremendous leap to admit your latent feelings, even if it's to loved ones. I admitted my depression and suicidal ideation to my parents and close friends not last week. They were supportive, scared, compassionate, and helpful. It made me realize I needed to take this step years ago, and now I'm on the way to finding proper treatment. If they dismiss your legitimate psychological condition, they were not your friends to begin with. Let the people who care for you provide advice and consolation. It helps, trust me. I wish you all the best.
  2. Set an appointment for a tattoo I've always wanted but never mustered up effort to receive. I don't expect it to be pleasant, but no better time for action than now.
  3. I am anxious, scared, and depressed. Anxious in the present, scared at the past, and depressed for the future. Only two beers tonight. Time seems to move at a snail's pace.
