  1. I always feel alone. Even wirh people around...which isnt that often. And im married...how pathetic is that? Ive always felt like an outcast. So is it real, or my viewpoint? Have you gone to see anyone? This describes my life. Sorry for copying and pasting to first part but I had to really really look at this over and over. This is how I have spent the last 10 plus yrs of my life maybe more (48, parents deceased divorced, kids won't talk to me etc etc.) Talk to your partner THIS IS IMPORTANT on how you feel. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT DEPRESSION IS A DESEASE THAT IS TREATABLE My loneliness has become 6 cats and a service dog. That is who and how I have spent all of the last 6 plus years of holidays, because I never sought help that my whole family knew I needed, but I didn't listen ( for years). Just head my humble and lived advice. TALK TO YOUR FAMILY..........................BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE You are always the last to know you have a problem so they will be receptive and if they are not you always have Us. KEEP COMINC BACK
  2. Wow wish I had you gp. lol but not really. This condition can/could go years before diagnosed. All meds have side effects. Drugs.com has a great website that I have used to look up side effects and drug interaction with other drugs over the last 6 years and it has helped me with not self diagnosing problems (as I have used theirs) but getting on the right meds. PS...I have not always been right but the doctor has at least valued my opinion I grew up with a shrink and I am still ****ed up because no one listened. SPEAK UP FOR YOURSELF AND DO RESEARCH not all meds work the same for everyone.
  3. I live in a great county in Ohio that has great counseling with counselors that will just listen first. I don't know how other states/counties work but I have had the best help from them so my suggestion is to seek county services if available first. If you seek your own help and the @$$&*%$ closes his eyes for 5 sec scream at him. I had this happen for 5 mins and he had the balls to tell me he was listening. Only imagine what was said on the way out. lol well I hope someone can laugh at my experience I can now. Keep your head up and ask for what YOU want and need. They are there for YOU YOU can get thru this
