  1. I was and still am taking 200mg of Trazodone for sleep. At one time I was also taking Seroquel 12.5mg to help rest also. I probably took it for around a year or more. It is nor addictive. It helped me and I may need it again. You should research it out to relieve your mind.
  2. I am on Meds plus I exercise too. I have a good Pdoc and am doing so well now the therapists dismissed me after several years. I personally believe that exercise enhances the P meds to work more efficiently and increase effectively. NEVER GIVE UP I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. I will not refuse to do the something I can do. --Helen Keller--
  3. Definately being on the Right meds and having a good Pdoc will help. I also believe CBT therapy helped me alot. When I was finally forced to Journal----You see your triggers and Your Blessings! Keep at it and NEVER GIVE UP
  4. I was told a simalar thing as well by good meaning people, that Have Never Been Depressed nor are they in my shoes. 30 years ago, I told my wife to just pray and shake off the bad feelings. Good Grief was I ever Wrong. It's a lot different when it is You. Being close to God does not make any one pain or disease free. Just read the book of JOB in the Bible!!! Bad as Well as good happen to very religious people.
  5. Went to seat and talk with a friend Planted more plants Enjoyed the sunshine and breeze
  6. I trap Coyotes live, then sell them to Fox Hunting Preserves. There they are given meds, food daily, and treated as kings. The Fox hunters release the dogs and chase the coyotes but they don't want their dogs to catch one. It would be death for the dog, Coyotes will **** a dog easily. That is his nature and that is the way he has stayed alive thru life. I feel like the coyote fighting this Depression -----to stay alive I must keep fighting on. Thus the name.
  7. Planted some plants Really enjoyed the sunshine and breeze Went to the funeal of a Great Old Saint, the funeral was very inspiring. A great Homegoing Celebration
  8. One ship drives east and another drives west With the selfsame winds that blow Tis the set of the sails And not the gales Which tell us the way to go. Like the winds of the sea are the ways of fate As we voyage along through life Tis the set of the Soul That decides its goal And not the calm or strife. --George Mueller--
  9. Two things: Medication and support from friends and family. I thank God for my Pdoc, who wasn't afraid to put me on a MAOI (Marplan) . I have a Great and Supportive, Wife, family, friends and Church. I believe exercise enhances the meds ability to work better.

  11. I feel great as well.!!!! I haven't always ofcourse' , yet this mixture has given me great relief and I feel almost normal?? too. I have a bad down aleast once a year still though. I take Marplan, Klonopin, Abilify then Trazodone for sleep. I've been on this type of combo since 04. It took the Pdocs 10 long years to find the right combo for me........
  12. Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value. --Albert Einstein--
  13. Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure........than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat. Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. T Roosevelt
  14. I was taking half a 25mg as well along with 300mg of Trazodone for sleep. I sleep well and was ready to go after 8hr sleep. But as you I went thru about 2 weeks of feeling flat. I was able to stop the Seroquel after about 6 months of sleeping well. I still take 200mg of the Trazodone for sleep. Hope this helps.

  24. When you are not "feeling" GOD is when He is Holding on to YOU the tightest. It is now when your Faith is being tested. He promises He will never leave YOU!!!!!!. We that are depressed' have to learn that We can't trust our feelings --they will lie to us. So we learn to Keep Trusting God, no matter how we feel.
  25. You have to hang on until you are on the right meds. Believe- there is Better for YOU. Stay as busy as possible. Once You see the Pdoc, he/she will help. If you can't stand it until then. Check yourself into the P hospital. I've had to do it several times in the past. It's not easy checking- in but I have never regretted going in. I've always left in a much better way.
