    Grieving is hard

    Welcome aboard, antique. I’m so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you at this time. Losing a loved one is very hard, and the impact of such a loss is deep. The sorrow can affect in many ways. It’s important to let yourself go through the process and give yourself as much time as you need. Each of us deal with loss in our own unique way. The journey can be complex, and wounded hearts take time to heal. Be patient with yourself and don’t feel that you have to do certain things in a particular time frame. I lost my dad a year ago and it still hurts. I believe only God can bring healing and fill the empty spaces of our hearts. Please take good care of yourself. I’d suggest that you talk to a grief therapist/counselor. Do you have a support group nearby? I just said a prayer for you, and I hope that God will surround you with His comfort and heal you whenever you hurt.
