I agree with what the other poster said. In situation like yours, I believe there is no substitute for one-on-one interaction with a caring professional.     I’m so sorry for your loss, friend. My heart ached as I read your post. Losing a special person in our lives is very hard, and the impact of such a loss is deep. The sorrow can affect us in many ways. Your memories of your mom will always be with you. I recently lost my dad and it still hurts and I miss him so very much. A caring professional would be in an excellent position to offer support and help you to cope with your difficulties. Also, look for things to do to keep your mind off of your negative feelings. Maybe you could pursue an activity, sport, or hobby that you enjoy and that makes you feel good. Physical exercise has the added benefit of helping to relieve negative emotions naturally. What’s triggering your anxiety/depression?
