  1. Is it possible that therapy doesn't work for certain people?

    I have been in therapy for the last 8 years, and quite often it made me worse. But recently, I started seeing a free grief counsellor to deal with all of the loss, and she has helped quite a bit. I felt comfortable talking with her, and I even make a few notes during the week about what I want to talk to her about. I think it has a lot to do with who the therapist is. I'm comfortable talking with her, which has NEVER happened with any of the therapists over the last 8 years.
