    Please Pray For My Mom

AMEN AMEN AMEN, Thank you for your prayers! I think in a way they have been answered. Mom's MRI was clean. NO CANCER in her lymph nodes nor in the rest of her organs. AMEN AMEN AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! She does have stage 3 breast cancer, so her left breast will be removed. Her masectomy is September 5th, and then she will have at least 6 months of chemo-therapy. Her hair will probley fall out, but who cares, my mom is going to be ok!! She is taking it it with good spirit. We have already are jokeing about the "Aunt Jamima Doo-Rags" hee, hee. Thank you. Thank you all for being there and for the support. I am very much relieved.

    Need Comforting

Baz, u have come to the right place my friend. I am not a doctor by no means, but after reading your post, it seems like you need some motivation. Get out and join a group or a hobby. There you will meet people with your same intrest, mabey a member of the opposite sex, if that is what you are looking for. I know, this is easier said than done. I have been there, and didnt really realized that i was depressed and in *****, until now. Happily medicated, and am at the top of the mountain. I didnt know how low I was till now I realize that I am at the top. Are those words of wisdom? I dont think i am good at the advice thing. Just know that you have found a place where i think others finally understand how you feel.
  7. Hello. If you read this please pray for my mom. She has breast cancer (found out for sure on Friday). Today she is having her MRI, i will be there when she gets her results tomorrow. Please pray that there is no more Cancer in her body. Dr.s are afraid it might be in her lymph nodes. Please pray, cross your fingers, i dont care what you do, if you think it works. Please root for my mom!!
  8. Just thought i would chime in, I am on Buspar. I take it with my Cymbalta, i LOVE the buspar

Recent Ideas About Dosage/time Of Day

I take 20mg around 8am and 20mg about 7-9pm. (totalling a 40mg dose perscribed by my doctor) I dont feel any medication effects in the morning, but it does sometimes give me restless sleep at night, whether i take it early or right before bed. I do find that I sleep much better when I take it right before bed with a Buspar (anti anxiety perscribed by my doctor) or a Lunesta. So there is my input..

    Experiencing Cymbalta Plus

Congratulations!! and hang in there!! Its like you finally realize that "hey, I am going to be ok" I agree with the above, " Remember these little moments and cherish them; they will help you in darker times" Cause its true. There are still ups and downs, but I am so happy that this is working for you. I love Cymbalta for the same reasons, good luck and hang in there!!
  11. Thanks for the tip too!! So far my Buspar has helped calm me down at night. And if i need it, I can take Lunesta. Thanks for the advice and the support. I love Cymbalta but it keeps me up sometimes too. Have a good day everyone!

    Where Are My Sheep???

I take both twice a day, the Cymbalta and Buspar. 20mg Cymbalta AM & PM and then 5mg Buspar in AM, and 10 in Evening (they are 15mg tablets that i can split in halves or thirds) I am glad I am not alone. Being wired and the motivation is nice!! Just not when its bed time. I also think thats why I get tired in the afternoons, we dont get a good solid nights rest. O-well. I still love my Cymbalta, and i guess you just have to deal with things. I guess I could take 40mg in the am???
  14. Hey guys, its me again. Ever since I increased my meds to 2X's a day, I am finding it hard to fall asleep, & stay asleep. I an not overly exited, just awake. Like someone trying to put you to bed at 5 p.m. I feel like I am not ready to fall asleep. I usally wake up and toss, wake up and toss. I say calm and just lay there. I think soothing thoughts. and just breathe, or concentrate on my husbands breathing, i stay peacful. Any one still haveing jitters/ lack of sleep from Cymbalta? This has been going on for 2 weeks. I told my Dr. and she said to take a sleep aid at night. That helps me fall asleep, but I dont stay asleep the whole night. I am also taking Buspar, an anti-anxiety med. It helps calm me down. Like i said, i am calm, but just can't seen to fall asleep. Any suggestions? I have even tried taking my 2nd dose, right at bed time so it does not have time to "kick in". I take my 1st dose at 8-9am, and if I take my 2nd dose early (like my doc. said I could do) at about 5-6pm, I am so WIRED, cant even think about sleep. The best way for me is to take it right before I go to bed. (9-10pm). Any one have this problem?
