  1. Find a good psychiatrist. Make a journal and write down your feelings throughout the day. I've been on Lexapro and Wellbutrin for a couple years. The combination as removed my anxiety and depression. Go see a professional
  2. When you feel ok is it a sense of empowerment? When you're sad do you experience a loss of energy and isolate? If so, you might be manic depressive or bipolar. Explain all your feelings in detail to your therapist. It might be good to keep a journal and track your feelings throughout the day. Hope you get better my friend.
  3. Glad to hear everything with your job is going well. Congratulations!
  4. My prayers are with you in such a hard time!! God picked a rose from the garden and it was your Mom! She's smiling down on you so stay strong!!
  5. If it's been two years and you're still experiecning the fatigue side effect ask your doctor about adding Wellbutrin to the mix. In my case, it has been the magic pill for augmenting the effects of escitalopram.
  6. Prozac is probably the WORST med to take along with WB for anxiety control. Why? One of the initial and major side effects of starting Prozac is wicked and increased anxiety. You may need a benzo to offset this.
  7. No! 450mg of WB is for depression. I've never heard this med every being used for ADHD. Sound like the Prozac drug rep visited the office asking docs to push the med. Not that Prozac is a bad medication. However, Prozac is probably the WORST med to take along with WB for anxiety control. Why? One of the initial and major side effects of starting Prozac is wicked and increased anxiety. I'm currently on 450mg of WB and Lexapro. I lost my drive and passion for certain things so my doc put me on 450mg. It's been GREAT so far!
  8. I go through phases when I want to be alone! My parents are alawys telling me to come over but some times i just don't feel like it. I'm taking wellbutrin and lexapro now so maybe desire to be isolated will subside. Then other times I feel like driving over their house and going to the mall and things. I don't know ... I'm just kind of weird like that lol
  9. In my case no! I take 450mg of WB and 10mg of Lexapro. Still takes forever ....
  10. Hi, For me, when i began to think about troubles in the life it made me anxious and lead to depression because I was sure the outcome would not be in my favor. Depression has never lead to anxiety but getting worried about a situation usually lead to depressive thoughts.
  11. I'm not exactly sure what to call that. However, it might be a good idea to speak with your doctor about getting on a SSRI. Lexapro has worked WONDERS for my depression. Hope u feel better!!!
  12. ChasenAir, you should have tapered slowly of Celexa. You can't quit cold turkey
  13. I just wanted to take time and express how these two medications have changed my life for the better. Saturday is usually a day I either go hunting with my father or go out shopping or visiting friends. Before Lexapro and WB I would simply lay in the bed with zero energy and depressive thoughts ALL DAY LONG. Now I take my meds and within an hour I'm up making the bed and calling family members to see what's on the agenda! Thank God for pharmaceutical companies!
  14. I'm seven weeks into 10mg Lexapro every morning. I take 2mg of Klonopin per day and my only side effect is fatigue. I hear it will subside with time.
  15. The side effects like fatigue will lessen with time. It worked best when I took it in the morning
  16. About a year ago I was on Celexa for 18 months. Initially I felt very nervous and anxious. My doc prescribed a PRN dose of Xanax until that phase passed. It took a good six weeks before I felt the med working. It really helped my mood and anxiety. However, I was very tried 60% of the time and that didn't seen to subside with time. It was one of those side effects I was stuck dealing with. I ended up on 40mg and the effects seemed to wear off. Doc switched me to Lexapro and I've been great ever since. Lex works better for anxiety than Celexa, in my humble opinion. Hope this helps!
