  1. Can someone please delete my account? I'm done with this site, I have met many good people and the ones I have stayed in contact with know how to contact me outside of here ( shaynegoodfellow@hotmail.com ) Reasons for leaving this site... most of the time when I try to help someone out on a post they rarely ever reply, I don't want to see these depressing posts anymore, I hope everyone gets better but I'm in a good place right now and want to keep my happy days/thoughts in good spirits. A lot of people on here are attention seekers and I don't appreciate that, and I have gotten attacked on here before when I said nothing wrong and just gave them advice. PLEASE DELETE MY ACCOUNT!!!!
  2. sounds like schizophrenia to me, i'm no doctor though so I can't diagnose you with anything. in my opinion you should be in a mental hospital until you can get better, which you will because the voices don't last once you get the help you need.
  3. I think they do work to some extent, I took zoloft for about 9 months for my health anxiety and it did help, but not as much as I wanted it to. I do apprecaite the help it gave me regardless of how much it is, BUT... the reason I got off them is because I feel the meds really just mask the problem, thought it was time to face my anxiety head on without any drugs that effect my brain, towards the end I didnt like the thought me of being on meds that change how my brain works, its not natural. I'm not against them fully and I can respect someone 100 % for going on them. Im not going back to them though.

  16. Full remission IS possible when it comes to mentall illness, the reason you don't here about these stories on the internet because the people that go into full remission just want to forget about it and never talk about it again online. It takes time obviously and a lot of hard work, but yes people can go into full remission. It takes hard work, lots of patience, and a positive attitude. If you try to fight your illness it will only get worse, i know its hard but try your best to ACCEPT IT. Gain KNOWLEDGE on your disorder, once you know more about it you will be able to know the steps to get into remission much quicker. I know this is very tough but try your best to stay POSITIVE. It's not a easy task and it takes time to learn but once you do it will help a ton. Put in hard work to better yourself weather that be thereapy, exercise or anything else. Keep on keeping on my friends, things do get better if you try and believe. :)

  21. @EveryWhereNoWhere - Hello! I can't relate to you on depression but I can relate to you on intrusive thoughts, when i was first diagnosed with an anxiety disorder I started having some intrusive thoughts that were literally driving me crazy. Here's a tip my friend.. Don't fight the intrusive thoughts, if you let them bother you or stress you out or you try to fight it to stop, they will only get worse. Instead try this... try your best to accept them, try your best to not let them bother you or stress you out. Once you do that over time the intrusive thoughts will simply stop and won't be an issue. That's how I stopped them. :)
