Does accomplishing things make you feel better?
flasquish replied to ireland381's topic in DEPRESSION CENTRAL
Yes, and I have to admit I have to accomplish a lot of things everyday, this brings order to my chaotic life. -

I have minus the Lithium. Zoloft and Wellbutrin together have worked very well for me.The Wellbutrin definitely saved my libido because the Zoloft destroyed it. Not sure about Lithium, but my anxiety disorders are well controlled with both of the meds that I'm on . -

Hoping to feel better with wellbutrin
flasquish replied to Bloomoutofgloom's topic in Wellbutrin (bupropion)
I'm glad you're going to try to do something, even when it seems you have it all, if you don't feel well emotionally it will never be enough. Since you smoke a lot ( I used to ) Wellbutrin - Buproprion is an excellent choice, at least it was for me. I've smoked on and off for more than 30 years, and when I first took this med, after 3 days I was finally able to put down the cigarettes. This medication might be able to help you out with your sadness as well, but you'll never know unless you try it. If you've never used these type of meds before, the first thing you have to do is be patient, none of them seem to work quickly. It's different for everyone, but usually 4 to 6 weeks, Wellbutrin can work faster though. I take this med along with Zoloft - Sertraline for my anxiety disorders, and with them both combined, everything is well under control as well as staying off the smokes and having a pretty normal libido. Good luck -
Using the stairs instead of the elevator in my office building, I also walk around the complex several times through out the day

Pretty stoked, taking a 5 day weekend for my bday and spending it at the beach. If it rains, I'll walk in the rain, if it's sunny I'll get some sun on this lilly white body, but the beach I will be at one way or another.

Is anyone taking Bupropion & SSRI together?
flasquish replied to Irene Iesu's topic in Wellbutrin (bupropion)
I take 50mg of Sertraline and 300mg of Buproprion. This combo is very effective for me, been on it for over a year and I'm very happy with the results, I'm calm and the effects of the Buproprion help me have a normal sexdrive. -
Try to give this med some time, it can be effective, it sure has been for me. I have multiple anxiety disorders and they are all controlled well with this med. Patience is the hardest part, but if you stick it out ( if you're not having bad side effects ) you may be pleasantly surprised with the results.

Zoloft for anxiety is making me feel depressed
flasquish replied to Ken88's topic in Zoloft/Lustral (sertraline)
I've been on and off this med for 3 years. The beginning and quitting are always the worst. Hang in there, it takes time, different for everyone but generally 6 to 8 weeks to see if your dose is right. My anxiety has been so well controlled over this time period I almost forget what it was like to feel that feeling.
