My own Blog entry must be approved first??!! What??

Why is one of my blog post's comment made by ME having to be approved by a moderator first? I don't think I said anything wrong. If I did, please show me.

Well I can't know but if its helpful I can suggest some possible reasons. Was there a hyperlink, embedded picture or video included in your comment? Moderator review can be triggered by this or other activity that is potentially in violation of ToS. After review, the comment will show up minus the portion that's unapproved and I think they include a reason for any redactions.

I didn't post a picture, but I noticed the person who commented on my entry had a big black dot on his signature, and when I ran my mouse over it, it basically said it was a picture, but I didn't click it. It just showed up as a black dot.

Maybe that was it??

I hope I didn't do anything wrong. I try my best to obey and respect the TOS. 🙂

However, if I did now or ever do something wrong, I hope someone can tell me.

Thanks again. I never thought really that the guy's signature would possibly trigger it. Hmmm.

I'm sure it will be posted once they look at it. I'm certain things will be okay. Forgive my freakout, please. I'm in the midst of working on that. Patience, self. Patience.

You haven't done anything wrong, jamark.  :hugs:

A recent mandatory update caused a glitch in the system.  This glitch causes all content that has an image, file, or link to be put in the manual approval queue for staff approval before it 'shows up' on the site. This happens for all members, and in all forums.  

I know it's a pain, and you have our apologies.  We are doing the best we can until we can find a Tech to help fix all these things.  I've put posts in the Q&A forum and the Central forum explaining this. 

A number of members are upset because, like you, they think they must have done something wrong.  You haven't done anything wrong, it's just a glitch that will not be able to be fixed until we have a Tech.
