When ever I do a fun thing, such as a walk or going-out for dinner, I do find it enjoyable; but the moment it ends I feel more empty, instantly - little of the happiness 'carries through'.
It's not that I'm in misery, great sadness or agony after something, I just feel a little empty and I'm curious if there's anything I could do.
Most people seem to do a fun thing and then feel happy about it after, or so it appears.
Would anyone know anything associated with this situation?
I know this isn't a replacement of professional help.
I'm probably just bored, thinking about it - I'm sorry for wasting time if it is.

I Don't Really Get A Lasting Thrill From Things I Do

When I can be pushed into physical activity i admit I do ultimatley I suppose come back home with what i would have to describe as an elevated mood. Due to the release of "feel good" hormones triggered by physical activity (Im not feeling particuarly scientifically google orientated this eve but i assure there are truth in those words)
Thinking about it could be your biggest problem. I know when i go south I can tear down any arguement, suggestion, discusiion or probably even debate regarding the positive and turn it into a negative, or at very least leave several unanswered questions regarding the value, purpose or point of said arguement, suggestion, discussion or debate.
What if?
Imagine you just did fun things all the time and never had time to think about the last fun thing you did coz you were already into the next one?
There is no wasting time here, of that much I am sure =)

I think i was happiest when I thought the least.

I feel the same way and I've never heard of anything to help it. I can't say anything helpful, but I'd also like to know if something can be done to make good feelings last longer.
