I'm currently on 300mg XL, and it seems to be helping with my depression. At this does I've been have elevated BP, that I did not have on 150mg. Is this common with Wellbutrin? Does this get better with time?

I've heard that elevated blood pressure can result from Wellbutrin. You should definitely let your psychiatrist know about this. I'm not a doctor, but if your BP is really shooting up, you should go to an emergency room.

Elevated BP is not listed as a common side effect but I've heard of people having it on Wellbutrin. If it is a big difference I would definitely advise you to see a doctor asap or go to emerg as michael suggested.

I have borderline high bp, and Wellbutrin raised it higher.

Going back down to 150mg starting tomorrow. I did not have BP issues at that dose. I did not notice a significant change in my depression from going up to 300mg either.

What was your BP? I was taking wellbutrin for a while and i noticed my BP was a little high. Because of that my doctor put me on BP meds because of that :(.

Hope things go well with your BP results.
