I am new to citalopram. 3 weeks ago my psychiatrist had me wean off zoloft and onto citalopram. I did the following:
was taking 75mg zoloft
did 7 days of 50mg zoloft and 20mg celexa
did 7 days of 25mg zoloft and 20 mg celexa
currently on day 2 of 30mg celexa
She increased my celexa because I felt like I was in worse shape than ever. In coming off the zoloft and onto the celexa, I have been unable to sit still- I am so fidgety. I have this constant pit in my stomach and feel kinda zombie-like- like I have medicine head. I can't stand it! My voice sounds so flat and I go from feeling like "oh my goodness, the celexa must be working- I actually have some energy and motivation to do some stuff!" to "I don't even want to go on with my life". Is this because I am coming off the zoloft still?
