So, this is my first post. I've been on zoloft for a few months, and recently (about 10 days-two weeks) upped my dose from 25mg to 50mg. I'm really attuned to my body, and am super sensitive to medications. If I notice a side effect I have a difficult time ignoring it, and let it impact my day in a much more negative way than I'd like it to. I was feeling kind of flat--like I was having a hard time laughing or feeling empathy, and so my p-doc decided to add wellbutrin to the mix. Oh, I was also on 100mg of provigil with the zoloft. I stopped the provigil and started the wellbutrin. I'm on day two, and just feel a little edgy, am having trouble putting sentences together, and am worried this may not be the right combo for me. I feel like I was just starting to feel a little better on zoloft and hope I didn't disrupt what it was doing. Is anyone else on this combo, and if so, how did you respond to it in the beginning, and over time? Thanks, and I hope this post wasn't too confusing--I have a tendency to talk in circles rather than getting right down to the matter of things!

I am on both. The statements I have read and my experience is that you will start to even out on WB. It has a tendency to make you more anxious and aggitated but everyone is a little different. I have anxiety as well and it increased my panic attacks for the first two weeks, but I was happier, more energetic and the flat feeling I got with zoloft went away. I had emotions again. I got in an argument with my husband, hung up and called him right back to tell him how great it felt to be angry. Needless to say- he wasn't amused. Anyways, give it alittle time. I ended up spacing out my doses too- I took WB first and Zoloft one or two hours later. Also if you are cutting the WB- don't! Most are the time release tablets and if you cut them it dumps into your system. I learned the hard way after my pdoc told me to cut it. It was horrible!

Thanks for your insight, Calidiver! I'm glad it's working for you! The ability to get angry is really amazing, and so important! Hopefully I'll start evening out soon...How long have you been on the zoloft/wellbutrin combo for?

I started WB four weeks ago, and Zoloft back in October. I started feeling much better about a week and a half ago.
