Hi All, I am new with this website.....looking for some advice.
I have dealt with panic attacks/anxiety/depression since I was about 18 yrs old (now 26)... It has BEEN A HARD ROAD. I was on paxil for 3 years and as a result gained 30 pounds!!! AND ALSO had noooooooooooooo sexual drive. So my dr weaned me off paxil and I have now been on Wellbutrin for about 3 weeks. My anxiety was NOT getting any better (I know that I need to wait at least 4 weeks for it to be 100% effective) but after reading so much info on the internet... I was convinced the Wellbutrin would just help my depression. So last week, my dr put me on Buspar. It had def helped my anxiety in that short amount of time. Does anyone know if this combination will help me with my weight and sexual side effects???(NOTE:since being off paxil, it has increased at least 80 %) I am SO AFRAID of gaining more weight. I have now started back at the gym also. I just do not want to be on a drug(s) that will effect me even worse. I am also hoping some day to be med free, but at times I truly doubt it...as I have severe anxiety.
ANY ADVICE/info would be greatly appreciated. I know that each and every individual is different and affected differently, but just hearing others and their experiences helps.
