I just started taking 15 mg of remeron at bedtime along with my geodon and seroquel.I wake up with terrible anxiety like my chest is pounding and I can`t catch by breath.Also I couldn`t sleep for two days in row.Even with two days of no sleep I didn`t feel tired.Could this also be the remeron.Thanks for reading.

Darn... If you couldn't sleep on 15 mg of Remeron, you need to talk to your doctor. I took Remeron for about a year (15 mg for sleep) and not only did it always knock me out, it turned me into the living dead the next day. In fact, that's why I got off of it; I was drinking a pot of coffee every morning just to make it through the day. If I didn't have to get up the next morning, I'd sleep 14 hours.
I don't think that Remeron alone could do that to you; it may be an interaction between the Remeron and the othet two medications. I know that when I tried to take my Celexa and the Remeron together I had a similar reaction. My shrink said that it was a minor case of serotonin syndrome.
