Benztropine Mesylate (Cogentin)

Posted by T on C , in Celexa, Flashbacks, PTSD, side effects, Zyprexa 16 May 2012 · 229 views

Cogentin-New med to help me with the shakes and pacing. A little dizzy but the side effects from the Abilify are gone. From what I've gathered it's a short term med-but what happens when I taper down?

Had to get a 7 day pill box and count to 42...42 pills every week! I am offically a walking drugstore now, sheesh...atenolol, celexa, zyprexa, abilify, cogentin.
Actually I'll be weaning off the zyprexa and ramping up on abilify from what the pdoc said, and if that does not work she mentioned one called latuda. Guess we'll wait and see how things are week to week.

Today was one large flashback, and I don't know what is triggering them. They seem to be more prolific after my immersion therapy. Waking up the PTSD is painful, but to have a day like today where it's all you think about has worn me out mentally. Going for a long walk later today should help.

I hope anyway...

Later :cat_jumps:

I hear you. Just bought a bigger pill reminder box too.

Hope the walk does help!
