Waiting on my next appointment and using the crew computer here at the MHC, nice to be typing on a desktop for a change. Had another screamer nightmare last night and I've got to get something to calm me down/chillax me when I have them-hope I get a prn script for something. It's been the same terrifying dream, I'm on the vessel and burning up. Two times now I've brought myself awake by screaming, and it takes me an hour to slow down my BP-which is pretty scary.
Even the Prazolin is not doing the trick. I dunno...I've had dreams like this before and they're usually around the time of a past event. My 2 year anniversary is coming up the 13th of this month, so that's probably why the nightmares are coming back. Either way it's a hell of a way to wake up...I don't want to sleep today although I'm tired. Don't want to go through another one of those again. The mind needs a break.
And I do as well. These dreams are taking a toll.
Edit-after the pdoc-
The Prazolin has been bumped 2mg, Celexa 10mg and if I have another nightmare I'm going 2.5 mg Zyprexa prn. The interesting one is going to be the additional Celexa, last time I became extremely forgetful (short term memory was borked) but guess we'll see in the upcoming days what happens. Fingers crossed...
