Today I woke up just as any other day and was prepared to take it on; never did I expect the news that worked it's way to me. Today was the day that I lost my friend, a wonderful aviation instructor and teacher, a wonderful just a man with a heart of gold and a man that would play the hell out of an accordion
and trumpet. His name was Erik Anderson and I will never have another teacher like him for as long as I live. This was the man who helped me fly, helped me with
math when I just couldn't get it, helped me get my life on track and helped me become the person I am today. I wasn't the only one though. He helped many kids in
my high school with the same problems and, for some special cases, did even more then would ever be asked of a school teacher because of his love for us.
He will most likely never get recognized as such a person for what he truly did for us by the officials and peoples of the school itself or school district, but that
doesn't matter because we know what he did and we know how much better off we are because of him. This is a man that I am going to miss dearly and I will
always remember everything he taught us about education and life.
