I´ve been feeling so much better since I had that meeting at the Citizen Advice Bureau, but my finances are still a weight around my neck. I will get a new lawyer as my former one is on leave. It´s a woman I´ve met briefly, she seems nice and hopefully we can work together.I had another quick meeting with a guy at the bank and we calculated the problem debts and found a clever way of paying them back.
What I find surreal is that all these loans are illegal. They have been found illegal by the court, but the banks appealed to the supreme court. It´s been reviewed by the European Court who found it illegal. When the supreme court has finished reviewing the charges, the banks may owe me money. Like my car loan bills come with the caveat: "It is not sure if these calculations are exact at this time."
Enough of this. It is time to focus on my goals, because although I´m striving towards becoming debt-free, I must not forget that I have goals I intend to reach.
Finish my literary works -
Expand the cinema - have more festivals and conferences -
Make more projects for the children -
Safe money for my trip to Bali -
Make more projects for my students -
Have art conferences in a very special building in town -
Get Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish contacts for one of the projects.
It´s not all about money, it´s about fun too. :)
