Heading Off To My Remicade Infusion

This afternoon is my Remicade infusion. That is the medication I take for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. It is an infusion, so I have to sit there in the infusion room for a couple of hours getting my med through a slow drip. Great! But, it's a wonderful medication and I only have to do it once every six weeks. They are super expensive, about $3,500 a pop, but luckily I have good insurance. I only end up paying about $2,000 for the whole year. Whew!

I want to say to all my friends on the DF that I hope you are well, and if not, I hope you will continue to put one foot in front of the other. Look at the stars tonight and think of them as representing each of us here on the forum. I am a little twinkly star out there, and I will wave at you if you look for me! :-)

My mood swings up and down, back and forth. My headache comes and goes with however much medication I take.

I guess that is life. Ups and downs. Swings back and forth.

Tonight, I'm going to open a nice bottle of alcohol, sit out on the back porch and wave to all of you!
