I've found that Pristiq is the most effective antidepressant that I've tried thus far. Trazodone works well for me too, as did Cymbalta.

Effexor so far has had the best effect/result for me - but it recently feels like It's stopped working or working a lot less than it did.

Same thing happened to me and the doc increased the dose to 225mg effexor xr daily and it worked again. Your brain adapts unfortunately but it does continue to work at higher doses.

Hi,

Both Celexa and Fluoxetine worked with me, and recently I switched back to Citalopram , a different brand as Fluoxetine was unstalbe and varied my mood too much.

CP more effective now, but not as good as when I took it in 2005/6

For me I take Wellbutrin XR 150 mg 2 times a day and 50 mg of Zoloft and it has worked so far.

I believe I have some anxiety, havent talked to my doc yet on that.

Hi

A combination of seroquel, klonopin, xanax and Marplan is the right combination for me.

Hi,

The combo of prozac and abilify is by far the best
med combo I have ever taken. I have had depression/
anxiety for 20 years and I feel the best now I ever have.

best wishes,
starr

I dont know if this is the all time record but I've been on 29 different meds at one time or another for mental illness....and have had ECT and a VNS implant. Nothing has worked....I hope to someday get the certificate I deserve from the AMA as the most treatment-resistant patient in the history of being nuts.
