I just feel really freaked out at the idea and new situations and people are kinda terrifying I was wondering how hard would it be for me to get on disability here in the USA?

Beg1984-

Sorry you are not feeling so well. In all likelihood getting SSDI here in the US will be quite a long process to go through. Your disability will not only be have to be proven by your medical caregiver professionals, but will be addressed by the SSA's own docs.

The only GOOD news is that when and if you get the "qualified" reply, it will be retroactive to the day you applied. So, get the process rolling immediately. You will have to be persistent, and I know many people who have gone thru the process, you just have to stay on top of things, and never give up.

My best to you!

I would start with your doctor. Tell him how you are feeling and ask him if he thinks you could get disability and where to begin.

Beg1984-

You can actualy apply online believe it or not! Just type SSDI appllication into your browser and you should be on your way. Be sure to only use sites that show as ".gov" sites. Otherwise, you are likely be venturing onto a "for pay" site where attorneys will want money to help you fight for your benefits.

Warm wishes,
