Ok, I've told this to other people and they give me wierd looks... but I have been feeling what I think is depression (feeling flat all the time) for a while now. For some reason, when the air conditioning was kicked on the other week, it made me feel very happy, motivated, etc.. Now it is off and I;m back to feeling normal. Does anyone else get this, or have any clue why this happens? unsure.gif

It is a bit strange, but air conditioning makes me feel good, too. I love the smell and feel of it. I love to put my face right up against the vent and breathe it in. I've heard that it's not supposed to be good for you (positive ions, ozone, or whatever), but what do they know? It makes me feel great. It gives the air a clean, crisp, and refreshed feel, I think. I don't know about the scientific basis of it all, though.

Yeah, that basically sums up how I feel about it too. I just want to know why it makes me feel that way haha

Maybe because cooler air is supposed to have higher consontrations of oxygen in it then hot humid air. You know how when it is hot and humided people say the air is thin, like you can't take in a deep enough breath.

Maybe that's just an old wives tale.
