Hi Matt and

to the forum,
I myself starting on the 150 Extended release and never experienced any sense of a honeymoon period. Now normally I take my dose in the morning so by the evening I'm less activated by the med and can sleep ok. But as far as noticing any immediate effect... I did not get it on the 150...as weeks went by I didn't notice any change but the people around me sure did, so clearly it made a difference just not incredibly obvious to me. About 6 weeks in I was bumped to the 300xl version and within a few weeks I did notice a positive change. This doesn't mean the 150 wasn't effective, everyone is different, but I found the normal adult dose of 300 made a
bigger difference.
That being said starting at 150 made the side effects not as severe and more tolerable when I went up to 300. 150 works well for many people and that's all they need, others need an increase of dosage to really feel the impact. As always I always suggest you give it the full 6-8 weeks to determine how it does for you.
Good luck to you on Wellbutrin and if you need more information post away, were here to help..
