Been on Citalopram since September now 20 mg's and was feeling dandy a week ago, back to normal and full of beans and all levelled out again and had felt that way for a month, now I feel my anxiety and apathy has returned, nowhere near as bad as it was but it is affecting me.

I don't feel depressed perse just as I said apathetic and a little anxious about things that normally get me excited and also I'm feeling very tired a lot lately sleeping in and napping in the afternoon.

I'm not sure whether my meds are pooping out or it's just the time of the year.
However I missed one day each week for the last two weeks on my pills due to me being scatterbrained and I don't know whether that has something to do with it.

A friend told me it's probably SAD and everyone they know are feeling down overly tired and a little unexcited about everything in general but I'm not sure.

Should I go back to the docs for another hike in dosage? 20mg was working fine for me up until now.

Can anyone offer advice?

Thankyou.

In my experience, missing 2 days out of 14 would not have much of a difference on a med's effectiveness.

Is 20mgs your starting dose? Many meds do require bumping up after an initial phase-in period.

I agree that you should be asking this question. Sounds like you are in touch with your moods and know something isn't right. But see your doctor for the answer!

Best of luck
