Newbie Group: Newbie Posts: 10 Joined: 13-July 09 Member No.: 38,595	I was just wondering if anyone else had been prescribed RISPERDAL (risperidone) for depression? I was taking it, but have stopped for lots of reasons. I felt awful on it, it always made me really shaky. My psychiatrist said it was actually an anti-psychotic drug, so i couldnt really understand why they were giving it to me- i have depression. I was in a psychiatric until when they first started giving it to me and i was involuntary so i had no choice about if i wanted to take it or not. And they upped the dosage twice. Im just wondering if anyone else had it and if it worked for them? Thanks, Lauren
