Anyone have this happen to them? I probably haven't had to do any real rituals for 10 years, but my obsessive thinking is still something i live with all the time. It puts me in a weird place. I'm immensely grateful that the rituals are gone, but I still live with a good chunk of misery.

Hi Abe

I am really glad that you are over your rituals. I am sorry you still have obsessive thoughts, but not having the rituals is great.

Have you ever tried CBT therapy? It's what really helped me with my racing thoughts. I think I may have a mild case of OCD and I too don't really have rituals. More obsessive thinking which causes me misery as well. I've learned to control these thoughts very well through CBT. It's a great tool for changing the way you think and gaining control back over your thought process.

I hope you can find some relief. I know how those racing, obsessive thoughts can be. I usually try to put them to a positive use for motivation around the house, etc. That seems to help me channel them into something productive.
