Newbie Group: Newbie Posts: 33 Joined: 13-December 06 Member No.: 12,511	Hi all. Well I take Ativan 0.5 mg some nights to help me sleep. I like to try not to take it too much. Anyway, I stopped taking my birth control pills a few weeks ago, and I am worried about unknowingly taking ativan if I get pregnant. I would stop as soon as I found out I was pregnant, but would it be harmful to the baby if I was taking ativan in the first few weeks of pregnancy? Also, I have read that Ambien is a better choice if you really need something to help you sleep during pregnancy, since it is a Class B pregnancy medication. Has anyone here used this during pregnancy? Well any info on these drugs and pregnancy would be appreciated. Thanks everyone!!
