Im taking generic Prozac for about 4 weeks now and I still have not gotten my period, Ive experienced some spotting for the past 3 days but no actual menstrual cycle. Just curious is this has happened to anyone else or if it is something I should discuss with my doctor.
Thanks,
Nicole

Hi and Welcome to DF Nicole

I have never taken prozac, but I think that this is definitely something to discuss with your doc.

I can tell you that people told me that my Wellbutrin was not causing my menstrual changes. Kind of odd that I didn't have any problems until I started it. How old are you?

My daughter, who is 16 takes Prozac, and it did effect her cycle, but in a good way. It regulated it.

Ask your GYN, not your Psych Dr. if you are concerned. And again, I do not know your age. I am in my early 40's, so my age could have had something to do with the change in mine(I spotted the first two months and now I am almost a week late with my period and I have never been late my whole life unless I was pregnant. Coincidence? Doubt it)
